When our minds are wearied with problems, we must come to Holy Scripture.  Here we must rest.

ADVENT & LENTEN
EVENING SCRIPTURE
REFLECTION GROUPS

These gatherings are a time of faith sharing, rather than lecture, bible study, or debate. The goal is to hear from each other. In turn we will hear how each group member understands Scripture passages and how each one recognizes what the Word of God is saying to them. There are no wrong answers. Because participants are all different, they can look forward to hearing a variety of ideas and insights.

These groups will meet from 7:30-9p.m. in the Nazareth Institute located in the Convent, at the corner of 62 Street & Bay Parkway. This group meets during Advent and Lent only.

These groups are led by our Pastoral Associate, John Fruner.  John holds a B.A. in Religion,  a B.S. in Human Services, an M.S. in Human Services, an M.A. in Theology and an M.S.W. (Master of Clinical Social Work) while currently studying for an M.S.Ed. leading to a Doctorate in Education.
